The future of Ray Walsh House is still undecided more than a year and a half since it was vacated due to a problem with asbestos.

Council is remediating the site in stages.

Tamworth council will soon be asked to make a decision on the future of one of the city’s biggest, most historic buildings.
COUNCIL is keeping tight-lipped about an investigation into whether or not the relocation of staff from the asbestos-riddled Ray Walsh House was done by the book.
